Hi! We’re Cyndi & Sam

Welcome to Creative EDventures

We are a mother and daughter, both living our dreams of being teachers! Between the two of us, we have decades of classroom experience.

Cyndi taught at Catholic Elementary schools. She has taught every grade from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 9 (except Grade 5, which she’s pretty bummed about). Her favourite subjects to teach are English/Language, Religion, History, and Art.

Sam began her teaching career in England, where she taught Secondary English & Literacy. When she came back to Canada, returned to her roots of elementary education, both as a classroom teacher and a music teacher. Her favourite subjects to teach are English Language, Math, and Science.

1. What grades are you sharing resources for?

We have collected and developed ideas for every grade from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. We may also post lessons that are more appropriate for Grade 9-10, but mostly we focus on the elementary and middle school range. To find resources by grade division, click here.

2. What subjects do you have lessons for?

We have taught just about every subject under the sun, so we have lots of lessons for English Language & Literacy, Math & Numeracy, Science, Social Studies, the Arts, and beyond! You can find our full resource collection here.

3. Do you have homeschooling resources?

We have both done some part-time homeschooling and tutoring. Many of our resources can be used by homeschoolers, but we will also be developing materials specifically for homeschooling as well.

4. Are these resources free?

Yes, most of our resources are free! We offer some freebies exclusively to those on our email list, so make sure to subscribe. We are also developing some paid content that will be sold as ebooks, plus some resources that will be posted on our Teachers Pay Teachers account (coming soon!).
